Louis Vuitton Monterey

A minimalist, time-only creation limited to 188 pieces. Designed under La Fabrique du Temps' Artistic Director Matthieu Hegi, it offers a modern reinterpretation of an icon rooted in heritage.

An Icon Reawakens

Designed in 1988 by Italian architect Gae Aulenti, the pioneering LV I and LV II wristwatches became cult phenomena and collector favorites. Today, they return as the Louis Vuitton Monterey in a new graphic design.

Featuring a 39mm yellow-gold pebble shaped case paired with a glossy Grand Feu enamel dial, the watch carries the past into the present through railway-track hours and minutes, highlighted by vivid red and blue accents.

"Reinterpreting a creation means respecting its design and spirit. We maintain the same graphic codes, but strive for a more modern and elevated feel."

– Matthieu Hegi, La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton's Artistic Director

Time in Motion

The Louis Vuitton Monterey is powered by the in-house LFTMA01.02 automatic caliber, alongside a dial crafted through nearly 20 hours of work and multiple firings at 800-900°C – showcasing an enduring testament to watchmaking savoir-faire.
