Tambour Spin Time
Originally introduced in 2009, the Tambour Spin Time spotlights one of High Watchmaking’s most extraordinary complications reinterpreting the Art of Travel — a singular mechanism inspired by the overhead timetable displays of historic departure halls.

The Complication
The first patented movement from La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the Spin Time also represents the first-ever three-dimensional jumping hour display with cubes. Every 60 minutes, two cubes rotate to indicate the hour, embodying technical savoir-faire and sophistication.

From the distinctive case, dial, and movement to the polished studs crowning the cubes — recalling the rivets accenting Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks — every element of the Tambour Spin Time is entirely crafted in-house.

Precious and technical accents enliven the Spin Time complication, including a hand-finished flying tourbillon. Nodding to the delicate form of the House’s signature Monogram flower, the tourbillon cage completes a full rotation every 60 seconds.
