Continuing a creative dialogue with L.A. artist Alex Israel, Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud draws inspiration from the region’s vibrant landscapes to compose Louis Vuitton’s Cologne Perfumes. The collection is enhanced by the re-edition of the iconic Sun Song fragrance – an anthem to summer days, expressed through notes of orange blossom.
Infusing the day with an invigorating burst of California-inspired aromas, each Cologne Perfume recounts a unique story. From the melodic Sun Song fragrance – evoking the sensation of sun-kissed skin through a harmony of orange blossom and soft musk notes – to Afternoon Swim’s contrasting wave of freshness, and the uplifting warmth of California Dream, inspired by a balmy summer sunset.
An ode to the vibrancy of the West Coast, the collection illuminates singular aspects of the Californian lifestyle through distinct olfactory melodies. Capturing the vitality of nature, Pacific Chill detoxes the senses with refreshing blackcurrant and lemon notes, while On the Beach awakens the joyful exhilaration of being by the sea, and City of Stars channels a nocturnal fantasy in the heart of Los Angeles.
Contemporary artist Alex Israel explores pop culture as a global visual language, with a deep connection to his hometown of Los Angeles.
